It's what's written in the panels. The wording has
changed ever so slightly. In 1993 the glazing
agent at the end was called CARNAUBA WAX. In 1995 there is a second one called SHELLAC.
Big deal? No.
Important? Not really.
BUT I'm trying to keep an accurate record of the development of the smarties tube. There are
regular changes in design, sometimes they are major.
Other times they are tiny. I'm not talking
about misprints, I'm talking about a concious change of
format. At the end of the day this ingredients
panel has changed, so it's a different print set up. Therefore, it's a different design, or a tweaked design if you like.
