Loads has been changed. I've solved my scanner problems
so...
i) Hexatube image finally added to page 5. The image is
linked to a dedicated page.
ii) Image of a 'Secret message pen' linked to text on page two.
iii)Two 1980's tubes added to page one. I aquired these a few days ago after
someone contacted me through this website. The 10% EXTRA FREE tube
was a lovely surprise as I didn't previously know it existed.
iv) The text on page one has been revised to make way for the
tubes. There are also changes to the text on the linked tube pages.
v) I have added an image of cool dude shades. See the linked text next to the cool dude tube on page one.
vi) I have updated my WANTED page again.
vii) I have also added links to my LIDS page and to my LINKS
page. Check them out. One of them is a swaps website, mostly for lids collectors
but also for tubes.www.smartie lids.com. If you recognise the images of the tubes it's because
they're mine.The guy who created the site asked permission though! He's a sound bloke
so you can trust him with your swaps.
Monday 10th October 2005
i) I have just updated one of the new tubes on page one. It
is the one with the best before date of 1 NOV 86. I wrote the original text in a bit of a
hurry and made a bit of a factual error. Just the type of thing I'm trying to avoid on this
site.
ii) I have just added a load of tubes to the 'Interenational
Tubes' page. It's just the basic images for now, but there will be a lot more content to
follow aswell as more tubes.
Tuesday 11th October 2005
i) I have added another new tube to page one of the UK
tubes. It is a standard tube from December 1987.
ii) I have updated the 10% Extra Free tube from 1987.
iii)I have updated the first German tube in the international
tubes section.
iv)The WANTED page has been updated.
Thursday 13th October 2006
i) I have added two boxes to the 'other smarties
wrappers' page. They are the Spooky Smarties and the standard 2006 box.
ii) I have added images of badges to the Special Edition Blue
Smarties tube on page 1 of the UK tubes.
iii)There are now images of the final edition lids when you
click the last tube on page four.
Wednesday 19th October.
Just added a 1986 tube to page 1 of the UK tubes section. No
time to add the text yet, but you can click the tube to see more detail.
Friday 21st October
Text added to the 1986 tube BB 1 OCT 86. Other text on
subsequent two or three tubes ammended.
Sunday 23rd October

I have done a massive overhall of the 'OTHER SMARTIES
WRAPPERS' page, or pages as there now are. The section is not finished yet, but
there is a lot of new content.

I have updated the last tube on page four, which was the last
cylindrical tube design. I have updated it with details of a special offer.
Thursday 16th March 2006
There was a set of smartians lids that were produced with
smartians tubes with a best before date around 01/04/2002. You can see the tube on page
four of my UK tubes. There were four designs, all in dark green. I now have all four
designs thanks to Pete Brooksbank. Have a look for your self by clicking the tube.
He also supplied me with an orange ' v '. I now have my first ever complete alphabet. I
don't think I will do any more alphabets unless I am given them. It makes things too
expensive and I struggle to collect all the tubes!
Saturday 18th March 2006
I have just added two tubes to my collection. They are from
the 1980's and now appear on page 1 of my UK tubes pages. They are best before 01/09/1986
(2 pence off special offer tube) and 01/11/1987, a standard spiral constructed tube. The
addition of these tubes means a really crammed page, so three limited edition tubes
have now moved to page 2. Quite a lot of work!

number 5.
I have also added another UK tube. It's not new, it's an old
one I recently aquired. See page 2, best before 1 APR 95.

I have also replaced quite a few poor quality images on the
site. Most of these are lids.
