ii) New tube added. Tube three on page one. This was
recently purchased on
ebay. Unless stated, all
other tubes were originally purchased in shops by myself.
iii) Tubes one and two are now a higher resolution.
MONDAY 7th FEBRUARY 2005
i) Page one is now in it's final form. The text has
been altered to display correctly.
ii) Page two has been heavily revised, with new links added.
Each tube of the Limited Edition nine tube set now has it's own
linkpage, and links have been added to the text to display the Limited Edition blue SMARTIE and the
three suspects.
TUESDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2005
i) Text updated on 'missing blue' tubes on page
two.
ii) Text added to SMARTIANS tube on page two, with links.
THURSDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2005
i) I lied about page one being in it's final form. I've
just edited the Gruisome Greenie text and links.
SUNDAY 20th FEBRUARY 2005
i) I found out on Friday that Nestle are changing the
shape of the tubes!!! Since then I have not been able to get on my site to do any
updating. This might be due to the number of hits my site is getting. I don't
think it can handle more than one at a time!!! I don't really know what to think about the proposed
change. Will HEXTUBES sit well with my...tubular tubes? Will they still have the
same appeal? I'm thinking not.
ii) Changing the subject slightly, I'm selling 24 tubes
that are surplus to my
requirements. They are currently for sale
on ebay for ten days. Highest bidder wins!
iii) I've managed to do some updating on page three.
Check out the shark tubes. If you click on the actual tubes, you will see
three different views of each of the three tubes. I think they are my favourites.
TUESDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 2005
i) I have made four more tubes clickable, but no extra
text.
TUESDAY 8th MARCH 2005
i) I have just updated the text for the first '10%
Extra Free' tube on page one, AND for the Gruisome Greenie tube.
ii) I have also added text to five more tubes on page three.
THURSDAY 10th MARCH 2005
i) Four images on page three have been upgraded,
including the 'Shark Infested Tubes'
ii) All tubes with text on page three are now
clickable.
SUNDAY 13th March 2005
i) I have now added a 1960's tube to my collection.
This is shown on page one and is linked to larger images!
ii) The main introduction has been edited /
updated.
iii) The text for the 'Blue Is Back' tube has been updated.
MONDAY 14th MARCH 2005
I've had a bit of an updating frenzy tonight! Ten further
tubes now have upgraded and linked tubes, aswell as text giving an explanation of each
tube. The tubes in question are the Rugrats tubes and onwards, which means that page
three is now complete, and I have started on page four!
TUESDAY 15th MARCH 2005
i) Lids Page added
ii) Smarties From Around The World (shortened to
FOREIGN TUBES) page added.
iii) Introduction on page one updated.
iv) Text for 1960's tube updated.
WEDNESDAY 16th MARCH 2005
i) I have just aquired some more smartian lids! I have
added these to the smartians tube page. Click the text next to the
smartians tube on page 2 if you want to see these new lids.
ii) I also have some more special edition soccer lids.
Again, just click the appropriate text next to the soccer tube on page 3.
THURSDAY 17th MARCH 2005
i) There is some artwork added to the 1960's tube's
individual page. Click the tube to see it for yourself.
FRIDAY 18th MARCH 2005
i) I now have a 1950's tube!! What's more, I've added
it to page one. You can click the tube to see a larger image of the front,
back and the lid.
SATURDAY 19th MARCH 2005
i) Text added to first blue smarties tube page.

SUNDAY 20th MARCH 2005
I've had a big updating frenzy today and
totally reloaded the last 14 images on page
four. I have also linked them all to
their own individual pages and added text to
them. This means that the website is
nearly complete, as all the standard tubes
have been updated. All I have to do now
is add images of my foreign tubes and
some other smarties wrappers that I have.
